I received an email inviting me for an interview at PDS' D.C. office. I arrived early and had a nice conversation with the two receptionists. I was then escorted to a conference room, where I was asked a few basic questions about my background, résumé, and interest in the position. With those out of the way, we moved on to questions about whether I had any moral opposition to defending clients charged with serious crimes, including crimes against children and sex crimes. After this, the interviewer walked me through a series of role-playing exercises, where she played a witness and I had to interview her about a hypothetical incident. Most of these were in English, but there were two in Spanish.
