Public Defender Service For The District Of Columbia interview questions

They asked why I was interested in the internship and then threw me a couple of questions about situations. I remember only one question that unsure about, them specifically asking what I would say if I was asking people questions about a crime that had occurred and was told to stop meddling and helping the person who did the crime. My response was that I was just gathering facts, but in retrospect I should have been more aggressive perhaps and said that I was helping the legal system make sure that the RIGHT PERSON was caught.
