Sourced through an external recruiter. Had good interviews (informative, somewhat easy) with 5 people at first - external recruiter, 2 internal recruiters, hiring manager, and CFO. Then met for last approval with another executive (CAO type) who was very negative, disagreeable, and described a job different from the previous 5 people. Answered my question, "What would a successful candidate have accomplished in the first 90 days?" with, verbatim: "I don't think people should do anything the first 90 days." ummmm, what? Hard no from me. 180 degree difference from the first FIVE interviews, including the hiring manager.
