I applied for a Global Planner role 2 months ago and didn't get a response until last week where they invited me for a video interview with the hiring manager without telling me what the role was, or any additional information. We had a nice conversation for about an hour, it flowed quite nicely. He explained what they were looking for and gave me a chance to talk through my experience, which was quite ad-hoc for what they needed. I thought it went very well but a couple of days later I received a rejection email saying that I had to note a lot of very talented people wants to work for Publicis, but no real feedback. They did mention that if I wanted any feedback I should ask. I did, sent an email to the recruiter and the hiring manager asking which skills I should work on and didn't hear back - I didn't feel I was asking for the impossible plus they offered sending more feedback if I needed it. It was very disappointing not to be rejected, but to be ignored. If they are not interested, you won't hear from them at all.
