Tl;dr process was chaotic, disorganized, and inconsistent, and they pay way below market while telling you that you should be grateful for their salary range. Had a recruiter screen, talk with a current product manager, and then 5 interviews in one day that included 1 case study and 1 data exercise. Most interviews were not confirmed until less than 24 hours before which is not professional at all. In first interview recruiter gave me the salary range and said that she thought it made sense because she read a Business Insider article that people are looking for more than just salary or some nonsense like that. The case study was fine but the data exercise was way too short to get any sense of how people work (they give it to you 30 minutes before your interview). A lot of things were contradictory. I was told that you don't need to have a specialization by at least 1 interviewer and then told I wasn't selected because I didn't have specialized experience. I was told this was an IC role and then told I wasn't selected because I didn't have enough people management experience (which is not an indicator of whether you can manage people but that's another story). Probably better I didn't get an offer as a company this disorganized and incompetent in their interview process probably has similar problems inside the company. I would not apply to this company again, nor would I ever hire them in the future.
