I applied online. I interviewed at Publix (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2021
Interview
It was very chill. The guy that interviewed me was very nice and welcoming. He told stories about the job to help me get acquainted with everyday life working there. I'm a student, so he explained that school came first and talked with me about my future goals. He said he liked that I was prepared with a notebook with questions. At the end, he set up a meeting with me and the store manager. The meeting with him was very short. He asked me a few basic questions, then offered me the job (even though I said Kroger instead of Publix twice lol).
Relaxed one on one interview process. They want to know why want to work at Publix, how you will handle angry customers, and what your weekly shift availbility is. They prioritize candidates who can work busy retail hours, such as weekends, late evenings, and early mornings.
Get asked about yourself, your goals, how you approach providing premiere customer service. They also ask what you availability is like. I thought it would be more nerve racking than it was.
oral sit down with manager asking what job experiience and handling of money.could you work long hours on feet and handle customer sevice and double with up front service area
