I first got an e-mail saying that the company was interested in interviewing me. I did a simple phone interview with a recruiter that was about 20 minutes long. She asked me simple questions like why I chose the University and major I'm pursuing, tell me about yourself, why do you want to work for QVC, why do you want to be a merchandising intern, etc. She told me about the program, and told me she would set me up with another interview with a panel of merchandisers and HR recruiters. Since I'm not from the West Chester area, they set me up with a webcam interview. First I interviewed with a talent recruiter who asked me questions again about why I wanted to work for QVC, why I would be a good fit for the company, and then got into more behavior-based questions about times when I was a leader, times at work when I wanted to improve a process, and other questions that started with "tell me about a time...". After about 30 minutes, I switched interviewers and talked to someone from the Merchandising department. He asked me why I thought I would be a good merchandiser for QVC, how I stay organized, when I was a leader on a team of people, and some more behavior based questions. In the end, it was about an hour long interview via phone and webcam.
