      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Apr 2016

      Interview

Interviewer appreciated me so much for answering well though did not want to move forward in spite of asking me to prepare for the onsite interview. I read reviews that they wanted to hire only Koreans which I am not.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Jun 2016

      Interview

I applied online and got a call in two weeks. The first interview was a phone interview. It well really really well. The person appreciated me and said I was excellent and would call me for an onsite interview. But next week instead of onsite interview I had another phone interview. Its not something common with Qualcomm to conduct two phone interviews and I was pretty doubtful about that as there was no reason for the second phone interview when they already tested the required skills well in my first interview. Then I read glassdoor reviews about the company. A person had explained a similar experience just that they called him/her onsite and eliminated on purpose as they wanted chineese/korean only to be there. The second phone interview was such a stupid interview. The person was asking all the stupid questions in the world to eliminate me. I can also do that to him -ask unusual questions nobody would even think of and eliminate. How stupid could have he been to talk about industrial experience for an hour when he knew I had only six months of experience.I still regret that I should have told him directly that I know the reason why you conducting this interview. LOL btw they could have done a better job instead of being so obvious about your racism/ any other reason to reject. Hope they do not make it obvious next time. My only concern is in such a big company how does anybody from higher management not look into such things and that it is infested with chineese/koreans whatever I am not sure. Me not getting the job isn't my problem. But they what they did the whole thing wasting my time makes me really frustrated. For those who read this, if you had a similar experience please do write reviews so someday they stop doing this.I was really shocked by their way of handling it.Silly and mean. That's all I can say.
