I was hit up on Linked In by a recruiter based off my background thought I would be a good fit. Did a phone interview with recruiter and then a phone interview with the head of sales.

Interview
There was an initial phone screen interview. I was prepared to discuss why I was qualified for the position, and the manager was aggressive, argumentative/rude, condescending and finished the conversation with "I'm sure you are a nice person, but..." Not the best comment to bring up in an interview...This is business here.
I question whether the interviewer was having a bad morning and needed to take out his irritation on someone; this lead me to believe that his managing style would be a bit intense and incompatible with what I seek from management. My advice is to remain professional and not take yourself seriously (you're in sales not neurosciences). Applicants are equally interviewing your organization as you are scoping them. Very disappointing.
