I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Quantiphi in Jun 2021
Interview
Applied through employee referral. First round was OT which has 7 sections - 3 quant & verbal, remaining coding. Apparently they only consider your performance in quant sections.
Second round was Interview Round 1. He started off with tell me about yourself, why change in the industry, if I know about sales cycle, have an idea of AI/ML and other works Quantiphi is doing. I realised I was slightly underprepared but did below okay. He then asked me about 2 basic puzzles and guesstimates. Asked what all factors a personalization AI for streaming service might consider. I listed out few factors. In the end I asked what are the qualities they are looking for in a candidate. He said strong analytical skills(which I have), clarity of thought(which I think I didn't show it well), an overview of pre sales procedure and AI/ML.
After that I got a call for GD. Around 10 candidates and 2 moderators were there on the call. Topic was to discuss pros and cons of one day delivery.
I got a call for Interview Round 1 again. I prepared better this time. He too started off with tell me about yourself, why the change in industry, my final year project, pre sales procedure and other basic questions. He said they were looking for candidates with strong research capabilities and analytical skills.
After 2 days, I got a call for Interview - Round 2. This was mostly behavioural questions and general stuff : tell me about yourself, strengths, weakness, why the change in industry, hobbies (I said reading historical & mythological fiction), to list 5 major learnings from those books, challenges of work from home, if I'll go for MBA and such. I think I did okay, I was a little nervous in the beginning but I think I did better by the end. Idk why I was not given an offer.
