Be ready for a lengthy process with not much communication in between! Applied 4/11, phone interview on 5/11, in person interview 6/8 with 3 different people for 45 mins each. 6/19 received automated email that I wasn't a fit - the first non-personalized email I've received in over 20 years after interviewing with a company. Was from the "recruiting team" not even the recruiter. I have always worked with recruiters within Fortune 500 companies who stay very close to their candidates, even when they don't work out. This came across incredibly unprofessional from a recruitment perspective. "...our company has elected to pursue other candidates with backgrounds that more closely fit the needs of our business." That response would have been warranted if you never reached out to have a conversation, much less conducted an in person interview. Poorly played, Quantum. Other ways to let a candidate know they weren't selected that would keep those you quickly make brand advocates during the interview process, as people who speak highly about your organization, even when they don't work for you.
