Early parts of the interview process were fairly predictable and positive. I was contacted by an internal recruiter and brought in for first round conversation with hiring VP and an HR representative. A couple weeks later I came in to meet a slate of interviewers who were stakeholders in the hire. In this second round I was surprised that in a series of five back to back meetings, not a single person offered me anything at all to drink or asked if I needed a restroom break. If this is the behavior of senior management with a candidate, I can’t imagine how they treat employees.
