I applied online thorough their website. I was contacted two days later to come in and take a math test. It is fairly basic with adding and subtracting. After I passed the test they set me up for an interview which was to occur two days later. During the interview process I was given a paper with pay information and benefits. It takes about 14 business days for you to receive a response. QuikTrip could do better with quickly responding to their interviews and job applications. This is because there are other companies that are much larger than QuikTrip which are able send information regarding your interview and application much faster. Their interview response time is too long and they are extremely slow. After the interview during orientation I learned a Night Assistant Manager is a glorified janitor. You are alone at night and are responsible for cleaning the inside and outside of the store. You have to broom the parking lot and clean the pumps while taking care of any customers. You have stock inventory, clean grills, clean drink machines, sweep, mop, clean counters, clean the register area and clean the bathrooms. You are responsible for cleaning the store and stocking inventory on your own while also handling customer requests. You are essentially a glorified janitor given the moniker of Assistant Manager. There are other companies that treat their managers as real managers such as Sams Club. This is why I declined QuikTrip and took a job at a different company.

Easy and comfortable interview. I was asked why would I like to work for QT and making sure I was comfortable with the job role. I did not feel intimidated during the interview process.
