I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2017
Interview
2 rounds of interviews, met with entire team (including head). Very well-rounded interviews, although most of the questions were technical ones but they would know your people skills throughout the talk anyway. Fair and friendly interviews. Mainly asked about the work at the current role, and basic questions about the role i was interviewing for.

Question 1
What's your long-term goal? Why did you decide to look for new opportunities?
HR screening. Asked basic questions about experience, salary expectations, work visa. Said would get back to me, followed up and no response. Not even a reply from the recruiter. Weird.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience. What is your salary expectation? Do you need a visa?
Pre interview was ok. Post interview was the work. The recruiters will treat you like vermin. No updates no nothing despite your attempts to reach out to them. If you are job shopping you can try. If you have expectations, best advise, RUN!
Professional and friendly. The interviewer started by explaining the team structure and project background, which helped me clearly understand the role’s responsibilities. The interview combined both behavioral and technical questions, focusing on how I analyze data, solve business problems, and collaborate with team members. Overall, I felt that RBC values data-driven thinking, collaboration, and continuous learning.
