I applied online. I interviewed at RBC (Saskatoon, SK) in Jan 2017
Interview
I had a total of 2 interviews, was asked a series of questions about customer service experience. The interview process was fairly straightforward, standard for the industry. Nothing out of the ordinary but be prepared to answer the generic behavioural based questions as that made up a large portion of the process. I had some trouble with those so be prepared to answer them.

Tell me about a time you had a conflict with an employee?
Based on my understanding, the process usually begins with an online application, followed by an initial screening interview. For client-facing roles, the interviews mainly focus on behavioural and situational questions, such as customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at RBC (Vaughan, ON) in Jul 2025
Interview
Absolutely amazing. Very friendly manager that interviewed me. I had lots of questions about the bank teller job and the manager answered all my questions and was super nice. We had a wonderful conversation about all the teller duties and all the hours and schedules for the job.
Interview process is fairly normal. You get a call from a recruiter that’s 10-15 minutes long. And then 40 minute interview about your experience and interest. Basic questions were asked. You should be prepared to know the value and examples that you faced that can help with future problems you might encounter
