I applied online. I interviewed at REEF Technology in Feb 2021
Interview
3 interviews: recruiter, hiring manager, SVP. All casual informal calls, all less than 30 minutes. More background/expectations about Reef than probing into my background and experience. I was surprised how quickly the process went, assumed it was because they were interested in me. They were not.

Question 1
What is one aspect of a past job that you don't want to do again?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at REEF Technology (Miami, FL) in Nov 2019
Interview
Two interviews one via phone another in person. Everyone was nice seems like a very fast and growing company...to where they cannot keep up with demand. The head of the department told me the average workday was 14 hours. I do not think this will ever change.

Question 1
Basic questions. Note become very familiar with the company and what they are trying to accomplish.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at REEF Technology (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2020
Interview
Applied online and within a few days I was asked to do an initial interview. The recruiter scheduled a 30 min interview with basic questions, digging a bit more into my background, salary expectations etc. I thought it went really well, I answered everything thoroughly, we even had a good general conversation. My last question was if I could clarify anything and she responded with no, you've answered all my questions very well. She said I'd hear back the next day, she couldn't give me a time but definitely the next day (she stressed this). So when I didn't hear back the following day, I gave it a few extra days because life happens and then I followed up. Nothing. I was ghosted. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion especially when I was reassured I would hear something. Honestly, looking back it feels like a scam. The pay was extremely high, up to $105k, and from what it sounded like, not that much work, which sounds awesome but also unrealistic. Also, the job posting just went back up, I could've done with a simple no thanks rather than ghosting.
