RQM+ interview questions

Someone posed as this company and tried to scam me. Beware of their Indeed company page, as that is what I applied through and was almost scammed. It was pretty elaborate and believable up until they gave me a job offer without speaking to me on the phone.

The interview process was the typical screening recruiter, with the hiring manager being next. Also typical of the process everywhere nowadays, it was a carrot and stick situation which could have been completely avoided and saved everyone time. I was told by the recruiter at the outset that despite my lack of experience in the device space, the hiring manager decided to give me a look because said hiring manager was impressed that I had personally gone and downloaded ISO 14155 and read it myself; I further told the recruiter not only that, I was actually well-studied in the subject since I had to prepare for many such interviews in the past and talked to practicing med dev CRAs in my network, watched YouTube vids with experts, etc. The recruiter said okay we'll set something up with the manager for the next business day. Later that day, the recruiter informed that unfortunately the hiring manager's schedule was booked and that they'd get back to me when an opening was found. Then the next week came, the recruiter said the hiring manager got sick and that they'd get back to me to schedule a date when she was better. A bit over a week later, the recruiter got back to me and said the hiring manager said that because a solid training program wasn't in place, the hiring manager (again, who picked me and was impressed supposedly) "doesn't feel comfortable hiring a CRA that doesn't have medical device experience". Throwing aside the med dev is a lot less of "a thing" than previous TAs I've had to do (shorter reg pathways, etc), why even bother interviewing me in the first place and doing this whole "wow we're impressed with you" hullabaloo? Old person yells at cloud I guess, but it's very par for the course with companies nowadays and I figured I'd let everyone know that this company is no exception.
