Applied online. Received a call a week later from a recruiter for an hour to go over basic questions like experience and familiarity with RSM. I indicated a positive working experience with a partner in the local office, and they noted that. A week later the recruiter called and said she contacted the partner and he spoke very highly of my work. She indicated I did not have to interview, I just needed to go meet the partner for coffee since he knew about my work and background already. We met two weeks later for coffee and talked about the role, and it was a positive conversation. He said he would have an offer soon. Instead, the offer never came after 10 weeks. The recruiter stopped returning my calls and e-mails. I never was able to formally apply for the role and was instead hung out to dry.
