First stage was a webex between me and another consultant. The interview was slightly strange as the interviewer purposefully disabled his webcam after the first ~30 seconds, so I was talking to a black screen with a name watermarked over the top. He also didn't introduce himself, or ask me to introduce myself, he just jumped straight into questions which made the process feel quite impersonal. Also didn't hear back after the interview, I had to prompt them for feedback (by which point I'd already found another job, but I thought it was rude) before they tried to put me through to the next round. He asked me questions about a broad range of technologies, such as: -Difference between an ALB and ELB in AWS -What is eventual consistency -What is CICD -What is PKI, give examples -Difference between encryption at rest and encryption in transit. -Basic linux commands () -Difference between a forest and a domain in Active Directory
