I reached out to the recruiter via LinkedIn. A quick, 30 minute call was scheduled where we discussed about my technical skills and past experiences. The recruiter shared more info about the position, the company and how is the hiring process. I was a little disappointed when he asked if I knew how to program (I was applying for a Frontend Engineer position). It was kind of a red flag for me, but decided not to give it too much importance.
Next interview with a manager: he was very easy going and we talked for like an hour about the culture in Rackspace, how it was to work there and all that stuff. Really enjoyed the interview.
The next step was the technical interview. I was told I would get an e-mail with further details but such e-mail never arrived. 2 weeks later the recruiter sent me an e-mail and he explained that the manager was replaced and they were looking for interviewers. He promised to reach out by the end of the week.
2 Months later I'm here, with no interview scheduled, completely ignored. I reached out to the recruiter via e-mail and LinkedIn messenger and I'm being ghosted so that's it for me. It's sad to see this kind of disrespectful behavior.
