I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rackspace Technology (San Antonio, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
My first "interview" was to submit a sample Rails application using given user stories. After the hiring team reviewed all the submissions, several were shortlisted for a face to face interview. Since I'm not local to the San Antonio area, mine was over Skype.
This interview was with the hiring manager and another team member; it was pleasant and enjoyable. They made me feel at ease right away. There were some basic Ruby questions followed by some specific questions about the sample application I submitted.
