warning: do not get your hopes up with this Company. I was super excited about this potential role. I had an outside recruiter contact me. They said my qualifications were great and I would be a great fit. I had an interview with one of the sales leaders which I thought went incredibly well. I have done enough interviews to know when it is good or not. At the end of it, they even invited me to send them more questions as we ran out of time, which is generally another good sign. The next day I got the generic we are gonna pass email. I could believe it and found out the reason was that I asked a question around travel to get a little more clarity and found out that is why they passed on me. So if you only check 54 out of 55 boxes, they will pass you by. It's laughable. The position is still open as well...lol. This company appears to operate in a paralysis by analysis mode. I talked to someone else in a different part of the country and found out that of the almost thirty prescreened well vetted out candidates that this company was presented with over the course of almost 4 months they passed on every single one after the first interview. EVERY SINGLE ONE. These aren't random shotgun applicants either. I am going to monitor who they hire and I bet money it will be someone who is a professional interviewer that hops jobs every 12-14 months and then they will be searching for people again. This experience is everything that is wrong for well qualified job seekers in today's market. Oh yeah, and I am currently employed with a fabulous run at my current employer so I don't need a job, but wanted a new challenge. I guess they are going to miss out. What a joke!!!
