      Front End Developer Interview

      Mar 27, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at RainFocus

      Interview

The initial interview was just under an hour, with a recruiter who had knowledge of the technology. This was followed by a take-home assessment, which was at least 6 hours' worth of work. They waited 3 weeks before sending me a rejection letter which stated they went for someone with more experience. They did not explain how they found someone with more experience than a front-ender who's been in the industry for 25 years. I feel extremely used.
