Rakuten interview questions

Went for Interview in rakuten office, first round data science mcq test with 30 questions. Next round after 2hrs of waiting with Japanese guy on WebEx .He didn't ask any questions ,just ask to explain what you are working on, which framework, library do you use . Then waited for 1:30 hrs, went to hr for further details,she told that you rejected as you are weak in statistics, ,then I ask he didn't ask single questions,how he had come to that conclusion. she said your profile not fit for job this much experience, I ask why you had shortlisted me , then she said we didn't done that ,it was through consultancy. Total waste of time.

First its started getting a call from recruiter itself , HR explained job & responsibilities clearly before scheduling an interview . The day I reached office for my face to face discussion None of the panel members are available to take an interview , after 3 hours of waiting one guy came and started taking interview , after 2 hours of discussion he mentioned that he was really impressed with the work I am currently doing and said explained about next round of interview process and all . HR later told me that am through interview of written and 1st of technical round , have to wait for manager call . Later 10 days I followed back with HR about the interview status and all ,she mentioned she is on holiday so cannot get me status - No backup plan when HR is going to vacation . Finally received a mail , stating am not meeting job description , its mere stupidity 10 days back team selected and mentioned am right candidate and now mail says not correct fit ?? . After seeing so many negative reviews on Glassdoor still went for an interview by taking leave , its a big mistake . completely disappointment of entire process .
