HR reached out via email and we set up a phone call. They did not seem to understand/value that I had a merchandising-focused college education – having internship experience in another department in the fashion industry seemed to be looked at as a 'negative'. I sent a follow-up thank you email as well as an email asking about a decision and received no response.
