Interview
easy interview with a financial advisor asking about my experience and qualifications. There are 2 steps, one preliminary and then one with the actual advisor. Was pretty easy and they were really nice about it.

Interview
There was no process because I was rejected immediately. They claim to want to help new graduates with job placements but are unwilling to hire without experience. They offer a summer intern program but as someone who was not required to do an internship and graduated in winter, this was not realistic.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Raymond James Financial (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2010
Interview
I was referred to the job by a friend that works at the company. It was pretty straightforward, just a review of work history and a detailed description of what the position would entail. Was offered the job on the spot, which was nice - they didn't beat around the bush or say "we'll get back to you..."
The office itself is quite nice and centrally located. Only complaint is it's mostly cubicles. Lots of windows and natural light in the summer months, but the fluorescent lighting gets a bit much during the winter. People were friendly enough, if a bit bored. Lots of people, particularly admin staff, have been there for ages and aren't overly excited about their jobs.
