I applied online. I interviewed at RePublic Schools (Jackson, MS) in Nov 2018
Interview
Several lengthy steps-- totally normal. The organization can be great but I worry as Jackson is clearly the stepchild arm of RePublic. The CEO's ego is huge---a fast talking guy (but doesn't listen) starts every sentence with your canned charter repeat "So, it sounds like you're saying..." etc. The structure isn't set up for success. Charters need to learn that expansion comes with complications. Get it right and then expand in the next town over--not three states away.
