Step 1: Phone interview with supervisor in charge of diversity and hiring. Was asked about passion to teach children of color. Step 2: Personal interview, where I was asked to teach a sample lesson. Supervisor gave feedback and asked me to teach lesson again, implementing said feedback. After mock lesson, the interviewer and I ran through a variety of teacher-parent communication scenarios together. Step 3: Offer of Position from the specific principal that I would be working under. LOE was sent via e-mail several days later.
