      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin in Oct 2014

      Interview

Interview process was dragged out over 3+ weeks. The first contact was with the HR rep who was very nice and explained the company in detail. The second interview was scheduled about a week after the first. It was slated for 45 minutes, ended up using an hour and a half. Felt very good about the job possibility. The third interviewed was slated only after a couple of days went by and I reached out to them about it. Spoke with the IT Manager there and again, felt pretty confident I was in a good place for being hired. I then had to reach out again after 2 days to find out what the next step was, and was slated to go to a face to face interview with the local area manager and IT tech. Again, this meeting felt like it was a good vibe type of thing. They were both very friendly folks who seemed pretty happy with their work place and were giving descriptions on how the local area worked, what things would be a day to day process, and how the company treats its employees. This was on a Thursday. I then get called the following Tuesday saying they have decided to move forward with someone else. I seriously felt at that time I had wasted 3+ weeks of my time waiting on them and interviewing in order to be told I wasnt being chosen, time I could have used to follow up on other possible job leads but didnt want to get hired someplace only to tell them a short time later that I was resigning for another job after being there for what could have been only a few weeks or a month.

      Question 1

I was actually asked the same question multiple times: "Have you lead any projects" and "What was one project you failed and why?"
