The interview process was quite unusual when interviewing for an internal position. I was expecting the normal questions you would receive if you were going for a contract position such as what your salary expectations would be, which I was not asked. The phone screen felt very robotic, in the sense that all the questions seem to be already ready to be asked. The interview was pretty simple and I had no issue answering them. I seem over qualified by how the recruiter sounded afterwards. Don't understand why you would waste both of time to just send me an email a couple hours later with they went with another person. Also was not expecting the recruiter to tell me that their interview process, when I asked, was very vague. Seems odd to talk about your company that way.
