      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2015

      Interview

I was approached by the hiring manager because we were connected on LinedIn through a mutual contact. I had interview for two days . I was interviewed by about 8 people I overall walked away not impressed with mid management. I like all engineers who interviewed me. Some basic curtseys like giving a brief introduction about yourself, what is your role in the company, how long you have been in the company can really make a positive impression on a candidate and put candidate at ease. Though all the engineers I met were courteous and I walked away with very positive impression of them, I can not say the same about the mid management I met. It really felt like were screening to see how I will not fit vs. making it an exercise to see if I would be a good fit. I knew what is going on while it was going on during the interview I but still went along with it. In retrospect I should have refused Redfin after the first round of interviews.
