The initial step after applying is completing a project which involves 2 photoshoot concepts, sifting through hundreds of photos and making 18 image selects along with alternate views (so a total of 54 image selects), cropping, and laying out a landing page. The purpose was to get a gauge on my aesthetic. In hindsight, I should have offered to show my portfolio first before taking the time to complete the projects. No feedback was provided. The process seemed unorganized as I was passed to another contact at the end.
