      Spaces -Commnity Associate Interview

      Oct 15, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Lima, Lima Region
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Regus (Lima, Lima Region) in Aug 2017

      Interview

The process was terrible. At first a recruiter called me and we talked for about 15 minutes. Then, I proceeded to the in-person interview. I met with the manager, we had a great talk and she informed that besides spaces (new office to Lima), there were 4 positions more and she would like to consider me there. I was a little surprised because it seemed to me that they already had a person for Spaces, and if so why was she offering me another position. After 3 days, I received an e-mail asking me and other 5 people for a group interview. This was completely new to me, but I agreed. There were 3 guys and 3 girls + 5 managers. First, they told us to sell a color and second, we were supposed to play out life/death situation. In my case, it went really good. Me and 2 more guys formed a natural team. Other two girls were kinda mean and "attacked" me for no reason. I thought that managers would realize this, but now I came to understand that it was not the case. After this 1 week passed and no answer. I followed up and finally I received an e-mail saying all the wonderful things about me, but the position was already filled. Other guys and me were stunned. What was the purpose of this and telling me that they had 4 positions if none of us was hired? We didn't have the communication with the other girls, but all of us were saying how mean and disrespectful she was. Unless they hired her.... but if they did, it would be a poor choice, especially if they are aiming at the new and improved image. I received another e-mail from them saying that they might be opening new positions and I was next to be hired right away. I can't say that I am looking forward to this.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

My life experience, if I am happy and why. They asked me to sell a color. And then asked me to play a part of a hypothetical life / death experience (was kinda awful and I did mention that it was not very ethical to ask us to "kill" other member).
