The HR recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn, which was then followed by a 15-20 minute phone call. She explained the details of the job and asked about salary range. Though I did not get an offer, she did follow up withing a few days by email letting me know that I was not a fit. Many companies do not do this and leave people hanging.
