First phone screen gave me red flags, the coordinator basically just read off a long paragraph about the company and quickly spewed off questions with quick answers like “how many years experience do you have in X”. Felt very rushed. I ended up having a total of 5 interviews and then was ghosted, and multiple different coordinators had to organize interviews and were obviously not communicating between each other. The whole process was very disorganized, and one of the directors started the meeting degrading my experience and gave me vibes he did not want me completely due to my gender. Even though I mentioned everything in the job description, he went on to say that they didn’t even need that in this role because they hired a different role to do that stuff. Ok, then update your job description? He found every possible reason to give the final “no” even though I fit the role perfectly. In one interview my gender was brought up randomly, and they talked about how they need more women and we get paid less and have less opportunities and how they have a lack of women in their company. It also seemed like they micromanage their employees. Dodged a bullet.
