Multiple rounds of interviews. Initial company fit screening, then 2-3 rounds of technical interviews where you use the Retool platform to either achieve some objective or simulate a training exercise to teach a feature or two. Final rounds of interviews are with higher leadership or management and are additional fit interviews, including discussing scenarios and responses.

Initial interview with hiring manager followed by a take home assignment which was actually fun to do cuz you get to build an app with retool. This was then followed by 4 interviews: 1) technical interview with a support engineer, 2) behavioral interview with a support manager, 3) teaching interview where you build an app with one engineer and v then turn around and teach it to another engineer , 4) final behavior interview with the head of support. Everyone was incredibly kind and supportive throughout and they let me know what to focus on and how to prepare for each interview, so there were no surprises. It was really a wonderful process throughout.
