I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rev (San Antonio, TX) in May 2016
Interview
I took a few tests. The first one took about 30 minutes to transcribe a short video. It was strightforward and I liked the software they use; it made transcribing much easier. I was sent an email just a few days later inviting me to take the next test. These videos were much more complicated and hard to inderstand. It took a few hours and I realized that I really hate transcribing. Good to know before I threw myself into it. Also, I type way too slowly to really make any good money at this. I was sent another email a few days later saying that I did not meet their requirements. All well.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
