Quite a strange process: I had not heard anything for a long time (2 months) about an internship position and assumed I was unsuccessful, then I get a message out of the blue for a recruiter interview. The first thing the recruiter tells me is that they have already filled the role... Then there was perhaps a 10 minute talk where the recruiter was saying *maybe* there is another position available but I got the strong sense this was very unlikely. There was no structure to the interview and basically started and ended with me being asked if I had any questions about the role (the role that is already filled!). In my opinion they were either trying to increase their talent pool for the future or the recruiter was trying to meet some sort of quota. I see here that I am not the only one to whom this happened, feels like such a waste of time.
i think it was around 6 rounds of total interviews including multiple recruiter calls, take home tasks, technical interviews, then team fit interviews and head of department interview about a three month process
OA, screen call, problem solving interview, team fit interview (behaviourals and few problem solving business questions) and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
why revolut, tell me about yourself, time you did this etc
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Mar 2023
Interview
Very long application process over a month for a simple internship. Final stage interview was not a good experience. 5 minutes call and interviewer was very cold and distant. Strange experience
