1st interview a general one with an HR recruiter, went well, though the recruiter was not professional, read her questions from paper. 2nd interview with an Audit manager about audit methodology and specific procedures related to risks and controls, how-what I investigated. It went well. Then the third round (problem solving interview) I thought went well on problem task related to a recruitment process' bad KPIs, but received negative feedback. I was told I did not analysed the problem adequately before I provided possible solutions and strategies to follow. It was quite interesting as the interviewer did not persuaded me to analyse further, it seemed he was satisfied with the answers I gave, did not share screen with exhibits, only dictated figures when I asked, and in the last 10 minutes of the interview - after he told that is ok for problem solving now- I could ask general questions on the specific job. So that was kind of a stab in the back, surely the interview was not professionally done. Quite interesting that no matter how many years of experience you have, it only matters how you can 'sell yourself ' in that moment. Interesting to see that such persons are getting top positions who jumped from one company to another in every second year in their few former years of professional experience...
