I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
After the initial hiring call, I had to do two tasks. One was an app design along with documentation, working prototype and screens as well as a live task where I was asked to create components in front of the interviewer. During this interview he told me that Revolut wants people who will work late and won't close their laptop at 5pm to go to the park.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Jul 2024
Interview
Not informed of the interview process and how many steps I should be expecting. Fairly quick to respond across the period of interviewing.
- Interview with HR/Recruiter
- Hour-long deep-dive into project design files with Revolut designer with technical specifics and questions. Interviewer did not have their camera on. Positive results nonetheless.
- Take home task with a 7 day deadline. Very comprehensive brief with lots of deliverables and requirements, not taking note of current full time employment. Over-delivered nonetheless, yet in the end rejected with two lines of feedback, out of which one item criticised a point that was not in the brief.
Base salary mentioned in the call reported in gross, yearly and local currency, which translated into monthly NET resulted in junior-level pay for a role asking for senior-level experience.
