I recently interviewed for a Capital at Risk position at Revolut. First Stage: The initial interview was designed to assess personality fit for the role. This stage felt generic, but it seemed effective in evaluating whether candidates align with the company culture and expectations. Second Stage: The next stage focused on simple technical questions. The aim was to test fundamental knowledge, but responses needed to be clear and straightforward. As a mathematician, I naturally tend to explain the algorithms and reasoning behind my answers, assuming the interviewer would appreciate the depth of understanding. However, I realize now that I may not have provided explicit, concise answers to the questions asked, which led to my rejection.
