Applied for a role as my current employer was restructuring and my role seemed to be at risk. By the time I was invited for an interview my role had changed and I asked to not be considered at Revolut for the role any further (not wanting to waste anyones time). I was persistently chased by 2 Revolut HR Representatives to attend the interview and in the end I agreed.
I took 0.5 days of annual leave to attend the online interview. Interviewer was 10 mins late, (these things happen I get it) however no apology or even acknowledgement was offered.
The interviewer had technical issues with sound and suggested I log off and on again, I did this 3 times and then emailed the 2 individuals who had been in contact throughout to advise of the technical issues and inability of the interviewer to hear me (despite the sound check being fine). I asked what I should do next. I attempted to rejoin the call whilst awaiting a response twice more but the interviewer did not answer. After almost an hour of trying I gave up.
I emailed a third time to both HR representatives to ask if the interview can be rescheduled etc.
It’s been several weeks since and no one has had the courtesy to get in touch.
If this is how Revolut attempt to attract talent, I dread to think how they conduct themselves when you’re in a contract with them, looks like a lucky escape for me!
