Interview
Got to round 4 out of 5: Round 1 - Initial call with recruiter. Scoping your experience and interest for the roll. Round 2 - Meeting potential manager. Again, scoping your experience but in more detail. Round 3 - Creative challenge. 5 day task to create learning for them. Round 4 - Case Study Interview. Management consultant style. Round 5 - I believe this is a social with the team. My review of process: Everybody I met along the recruitment journey was friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. It does sound like an exciting place to work. I enjoyed the experience and every stage made me want the job more. I was gutted to of not got an offer, but it is what it is. However, there are aspects of this recruitment process which I am disappointed with. After Round 2 which was a Monday morning interview, I had received an email saying the next round starts straight away and I have 5 days to finish. I had to work my current role as well as working late into the early hours every night to finish the creative challenge. After my submission on the Friday which I had worked about 30 hours on, I received no receipt of submission. I knew they were busy so I had not followed up. Then 2 weeks went by... no update or anything. I eventually chased and got an immediate response that they are sorry, but the reviewer was off sick. I understand this can happen but after breaking my back to finish the challenge it was disheartening to not receive anything. Alas, I got through to the next round. The dreaded case study interview... They frame it that they want to see how you problem solve. This was just odd. I'm not going to work for a management consultant company, I'm a learning designer. It just felt so out of place. Would of loved to do another type of learning challenge where problem solving could of been shown in the career I am in. I got given lots of prep materials so of course I spent days researching the format of the interview, but in hindsight I should of not done so. I tried to learn the mckinsey frameworks and to be 'mece'. I think that just threw me off when it came to the interview. It was an awful interview and I did leave thinking I hadn't got the job. Then I waited for an outcome email... and waited... and waited... so again, I chased. To then receive the most automated email. No personal feedback provided. What a shame! I want to learn from this type of experience or in the future potentially apply again. Then to get an automated email to say you're not right for the job has put me off revolut. All of those hours I had put in and not a 5 minute call from a recruiter to explain the reasons why.

Interview
It was fine, nothing too complicated. I first asked a few questions and then moved on to an instructed one. In the end, I found it to be a smooth experience and nothing too difficult.
