I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
Terrible experience . I completed a phone interview and then a task which I was told the hiring managers were very impressed with. I was then invited to a face to face interview with 2 managers. The first manager seemed disinterested and arrived 20 minutes late. The second interviewer was much better and seemed genuinely interested in my background and what I had to say. After the interview was complete the second interviewer told me he'd love to bring me on board as soon as possible however he would need confirmation from the other manager. The recruitment manager who was managing the whole process then gave me a call a few days later telling me that I "basically have the job" but he was waiting for sign off from the senior manager who was away on holiday. A couple of weeks went past and I hadn't heard anything back from the recruiter, he ignored emails and phone calls and so I contacted the hiring manager on LinkedIn and he told me that I had been misinformed by the recruiter and they were still interviewing for the role and I would be given an answer by the end of December (baring in mind i had my interview at the beginning of November). The new year came and I had heard nothing from anyone from revolut, I sent emails which recieved no response . 2 weeks into January I recieved an email saying I will not be offered the role as "certain areas did not align with the job requirement". Which is untrue and contradictory to what the managers themselves and the recruiter had told me about my experience. I am very disappointed and feel like I have been strung along with no regard for myself. I was hoping the rumours about this company were untrue but it would seem that they may be legitimate. I'm not sure why I was treated this way but I will be looking to take things further.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your taking the time to give us your honest thoughts about your experience. We want to emphasise that this is not representative of our values or standards at Revolut. We always tell our interviewers to provide feedback only to the recruiter who is handling the job role so that our candidates aren’t left feeling confused about their status in the process. We urge you to provide feedback through the interview survey so that we can follow up internally.
