I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (College Station, TX) in May 2018
Interview
Within a week of applying, they had gotten back to me to schedule an personality assessment and an aptitude test. Neither of these had any relevance to a software development job, and were excessively long. The personality assessment was quoted as taking 20 minutes; however, it actually took an hour. The aptitude test took an hour as well.
The aptitude test consisted of "logic" questions, such as "find the letter in this sequence." Many of these questions did not have a unique correct answer. The final and longest section was a 30 minute algebra test. If it has been a while since you solved algebra word problems (such as you would find in high school), review them heavily. Having a math degree and soon an engineering masters, I thought I would be fine on this section. I was wrong. The questions are very wordy and some take a while to decipher.

Emailed me asking for an interview, then told me they decided not to continue with the hiring process. Not a bad interview, common questions, video interview first, cheek swab later.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds
Interview
Reached out by a recruiter to complete an online personality assessment. The assessment took about 30 minutes to complete and it consists of basic math and reasoning questions and personality questions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
Heard from a recruitment member via email upon applying. Following a response confirming I wanted to continue with the application, I was given an "IQ" assessment to finish. Upon scoring well and within the time frame we were asked to complete a skills assessment to match us to our supposed "dream placement". After completing all of these assessments, the company did not reach out for more than a week after which they finally sent a short rejection email with no feedback or information. Reviews on other platforms support this type of response, seemingly typical behavior.
