ARDUOUS. There was a two hour test, taken at home, and then three interviews. Before the first interview there was a borderline-invasive questionnaire asking lots of personal questions about my wife’s family and my own…
I did two of the interviews: they each lasted OVER TWO HOURS, and at the end of each I felt like my brain had been scraped by a trowel. After the second interview I received a form email saying “sorry, we’ve decided not to continue with the process.”
I respect their decision, but it felt like a total waste of time: I had to miss work TWICE because the interviews were so long, and when I gave my pay expectations (much lower than I’m making because it’s a career change) I could tell that’s what killed it.
I think this was a blessing in disguise.
