Sent in online application. Got a call minutes later from a person that would be my manager for quick interview. Flew out the following week (they would have been fine with video interview, but I preferred in-person). Met my manager. There were supposed to be more people in the meeting (VP, Two Procurement Managers, HR) but a last minute meeting in the other office called them away. After my interview with the person that would be my manager, HR conferenced in and asked me a few questions. My manager gave me a feel for what they were expecting, the industry, their challenges, and the team.
Then the manager scheduled meeting for me to chat with another procurement manager to give me more of a feeling for the company and roll. We had this meeting over the phone a week later.
I got a call the next day with a job offer, salary, and they were flexible on start date.
I'd done my research on the company and did a lot of prep, so I didn't find the interview challenging. Be honest about your capabilities.
They want the right attitude, someone with an internal drive/self motivated, and resourceful.
