Applied online. Received a response in a week to come in for an interview. Interview was in the afternoon: took about 30 minutes. Interviewed with the Front Office Manager. Series of 10-15 behavioral questions regarding performance, anticipating the guests needs (important for quality for the Ritz!) and other questions. Last question was regarding my knowledge of the company. Thought I had a positive experience, even received confirmation from interviewer that he felt that I would be a great fit. Did not receive the position, possibly due to me being a recent graduate with little experience.

Then you interview was Friendly. Very accommodating for the Front Desk cage and control the questions were very general in my opinion. Charming personality helps act like you're genuinely interested.

Difficult situation faced? How did you make a guest stay better by going above and beyond?
Via Skype (da ich zum Zeitpunkt des Vorstellungsgesprächs nicht in Deutschland war, wurde eine Ausnahme gemacht, eigentlich sollten alle Bewerber vor Ort sein) mit 6 Personen, die nacheinander meist recht ähnliche Fragen gestellt haben.

Later contacted by HR to send another application to the official Marriott website so I could progress to answer the online questions to check my suitability for the role. 1 week later I was called in for an online interview, and it was carried out by a front desk leader and an Assistant Manager of Rooms present. Interview questions was purely experiential based questions.
