The process took exactly four weeks from the phone screen to offer and was fully remote. It was one of the most organized processes I have gone through in my career. After the initial phone screen, I interviewed with a senior associate, manager, director and managing director in succession. The interviews were generally behavioral and sought to ensure that it was a good cultural fit. As they progressed, there were a few technical questions as well. I really felt like I was sitting with these people at lunch and having a casual conversation despite the interviews being remote. We got to know each other a bit and I got a great feel for the type of culture I'd be joining and the people I'd be working with as well as the type of work I could look forward to at the firm. In the end, it was an easy decision to join the firm.
