They will call you to come interview. I didn’t receive a confirmation email . But when I went to the interview. They basically asked me. Why do I want to become a nurse (because I was a new grad)? Why did I choose the ED? Name a time I dealt with a difficult patient.
The interview process was on par for an ICU position where my knowledge and skills were tested to perform the duties required. Many questions centered around Patient care Teamwork Adaptability

Interview
I applied online and was contacted by the nurse manager to come in for an interview. Very straightforward, typical interview questions (tell me about yourself, strengths/weaknesses) and she also asked about shift preference and scheduling right off the bat. As a new grad, I wasn't given any case study/prioritization or specific clinical scenario questions, just the question I listed below. Took about 20-30 minutes. After the interview I was asked to come in to shadow on the unit and see if it was a good fit.
